2011 Premier Pontoon Dealer Show at the factory in Minnesota 08-16-10

08-16-10 Winnisquam Marine attended the Premier Pontoon Dealer Show in Wyoming, Minnesota. Definitely a great learning tool for the marina. Ed, Ryan and Kevin inspected every model boat that Premier makes. We saw all kinds of possible color combinations, over 1500 in all. We went on a plant tour that was second to none (just like the boats). We saw important market statistics. We were amazed by all the product changes for 2011. More than any year in their 19 years of producing pontoon boats. Every Premier model has had numerous product changes. It's evolutionary...

Winnisquam Marine wins the most awards at the Premier Pontoon Dealer Show. Winnisquam Marine won the- "Greatest Percent Increase in Sales" for 2010 (2nd year in a row for Winnisquam Marine), also the- "Top 10 Dealer Award", and last but not least the- "Bronze Lifetime Achievement Award". 3 awards in all. Here's Premier's PTX pontoon rack. This is a really cool display piece. Ryan nagged Ed till he agreed to buy one from Premier. Look at our display outfront of the marina and quite possibly at the 2011 Boston Boat Show. Please also notice how well the Premier playpen cover fits. It's manufactured right onsite here at the factory, not in China!

A closer look at the Premier PTX triple log setup. The center pontoon has a flat pad like all high performance boats. The boat actually rides on this surface at higher speeds. Both outer pontoons have lifting strakes that also make the PTX setup a very efficient hull design. A 23ft Premier 235 S-Series has very strong acceleration out of the water and has a top speed of 45.5mph with a Mercury 200hp Optimax Pro XS. For the speed traveled, the amount of happy boaters carried this is a very fuel efficient boat. Outboard engines have had to adhere to much stricter fuel efficient standards since 2006. They use nearly 50% less fuel now. Sterndrive engines have just started to have their own fuel efficiency standards recently.

Sea-Legs on a 2010 Premier 225 Sunsation Ltd. The rails on the 2011 model are completely different. Sea-Legs are basically a boat lift attached to the pontoon boat. Very useful and the least expensive way to get your boat up and out of rough water. Winnisquam Marine had been a Sea-Legs dealer for several years now. They can be installed at the Premier factory or by Winnisquam Marine. They work great and you don't have the hassle of getting a heavy boat lift in and out of the water. Left- This is looking forward at 2 reclining loungers, port, and a huge couch setup. Very, Very nice. Right- another couch setup port side behind the reclining loungers. All the furniture is made by Flex-Steel on this boat. There is no finer, comfortable furniture in the pontoon boat industry. Just come in and sit in our showroom boat and see for yourself. Drivers helmstand and wet bar prep area on the starboard side. Raised helm chair with fishfinder. Wet bar with 12v refrigerator, sink and all kids of storage. Mom's and the family will love this console.

Up top on the Sky Deck there are 2 forward facing chaise loungers, lots of floor room and the entry onto the water slide.

L- Here's the slide which has a pump that supplies water for better glide. R- looking over the front rail you can see the lower decd forward seating layout.

Another Sky Deck! This one is on a 2011 Premier 250 Sunsation Ltd PTX. This is not a super wide body, it is the typical 8'-6" width. Exterior- navy fences with mocha accent. Optional water slide. 36in PTX package.

This 250 Sunsation Ltd also has optional swim platform extensions and the large style ski/board tow.
