WINNISQUAM COMMUNITY NOTICE:

4th of July Boat Parade on Lake Winnisquam

July 5th at 1pm. (Rain date July 6th 1pm)

Please don't forget to talk with your kids and friends about this years 4th of July Boat Parade on Lake Winnisquam. It costs nothing to enter. It's well worth the cost of the gas for your kids to join in the fun. You need not be too elaborate in your decorations to enter. But get out there with the kids and show your patriotism during these challenging times.

You can pickup entry forms at Winnisquam Marine, Adams Marine and the Winnisquam Trading Post. There are several different category prizes to be awarded after the parade by the Winnisquam Village Association. Winnisquam Marine donates several SportStuff Tubes to support this community event every year. This year- Winnisquam Marine is going all out to stir up your patriotism and see the kids have a good time boating. Winnisquam Marine will donate several more prizes for this years event, including more Sport-Stuff Tubes, Citgo Gas cards, gift certificates and clothing.

The parade starts at Pot Island on Lake Winnisquam at 1pm on July 5th, 2008. The rain date is July 6th at 1pm. Look for the judges boat with the WVA banner. Turn in your form there. There is no entry fee. The parade then commences and everybody drives down the Sanbornton shoreline all the way past the sandbar, under the bridge, down to Mohawk Island and then loops around and ends outfront of Winnisquam Marine. Typically the judges present the awards from our gas dock. There should be enough awards so that no boat goes home empty handed. You may also decorate your waterfront along the Sanbornton shoreline and the judges will award prizes for that too.

This years theme is, "Favorite Patriot or Politician" (past or present). We have entry forms at the Marina and we'll try to answer any questions that you may have (603)524-8380.        I just wanted to say thank you for making a much anticipated event a great and pleasant experience.  From my first enquires of the Etec to the pickup last Saturday all went smooth and truly professional.  Ed you have assembled a great staff as I felt all my questions were answered with patience and knowledge, and the easy demeanor of all involved was truly appreciated.  As for the engine, it blows the injectors out of the Ficht hands down; BRP truly has a winner here.  Hammer down acceleration from 4,000 rpm to WOT literally occurs in two blinks of an eye, top speed is greater and I just can't get enough of the sound it makes as you give it throttle.  I have all the intentions of recommending the hardware and Winnisquam Marine to anyone I know looking for a boat or engine, and for others involved in my sale who I'm not aware of, thank you again.
